All Moved In
04Mar07
Well, I’m all moved into the new house. And I lasted a grand total of… drumroll… about thirty minutes with no TV before I ran out and got a set of rabbit ears. Fortunately I am close enough to town that I get all the available channels easily with the old-school antenna. That means no foil or wire coat hangers in my future. Once I’m sure I like where the TV is, and once I’m sure I can foot the bill, I’ll get real TV. Probably Dish Network. For now, there is just me. And my eight channels. And a lot of boxes.

Im already trying to figure out what were going to do for internet/cable. We were on comcast, which im not that fond of. We currently use Verizon FIOS, but DSL isnt even available over where we are. So we are looking into DirectTV or something. Congrats on moving in!
Thanks Jon. Your new house can’t get DSL? Ouch!
Nope…nor FIOS. That, and the little experiance I had with DSL was TERRIABLE (DO NOT GO WITH CAVTEL). I dont like how comcast is overpriced, but everything JUST worked for us with them…thats why we may go back.
It isn’t bad to live without TV. I do it. It brings a good mental-health.
Good luck on the new home!
Thanks, Nach.
